Background

The Inspired Living Maternity Pillow was initially developed and designed as a one-off by Mardi Foster after a trip in 2004 when she was pregnant with her first child and she couldn’t get a decent night’s sleep. As we all know, it is best for pregnant women to sleep on their side for optimum comfort, support and for the health of the baby so the pillow is great for putting between your legs pre-baby and using for breastfeeding post-baby. Soon after her return Mardi ordered another pillow to be made as a gift for a friend, who in turn commissioned one for her sister…and Inspired Living’s Maternity Pillow was born.

We loved the organic way the business had grown and thought the pillow was fabulous – especially Jules who wasn’t long out of her own pregnancy and could remember the sore back still! Mardi’s business was still small but had lots of potential for growth.

Publicity Campaign

Due to budget restrictions, and because Mardi was soon pregnant with her second child, we only worked with Inspired Living for three months but in that time we got some great stories for Mardi, including a great spot on Mornings with Kerri Anne (Ch 9), and on SusiE (Win TV).
